Phyllis Nichols

Phyllis received her B.A. from New England College, Henniker, New Hampshire. After undergraduate school, Phyllis moved to Boston and worked in a Children and Family Health Program at Harvard Medical School, a multidisciplinary practice that included physicians, social workers and psychologists. She volunteered at Children’s Hospital in Boston and worked with children who were diagnosed with anorexia.

The experience in Boston sparked Phyllis’s interest in Social Work. Phyllis graduated from SUNY Albany School of Social Welfare with her M.S.W. degree. Phyllis’s first social work position in New York was at Bellevue Hospital. Phyllis has 22 years of administrative social work experience, but prefers direct clinical work. Her social work experiences include hospital, long term care, oncology, home health and hospice. 

A native of Glens Falls, NY, Phyllis now lives in Brooklyn with husband, Pete and is honored to be working with Mac Angels Foundation.
