"Claire Collier must have been an amazing woman to have left behind such a wonderfully dedicated group of friends -- truly angels -- who pass on their love for her as compassion towards other families going through the same struggle."

The MAC Angels Foundation is dedicated to supporting families with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Our "Angels" understand the challenges brought on by ALS, both physically and emotionally ... and we are here to help. Our approach: support the entire family living with ALS.
ALS, also known as "Lou Gehrig's disease," damages motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. This degenerative and debilitating disease results in a loss of voluntary muscle movement, eventually making it difficult for ALS patients to walk, talk and breathe. This process creates special living needs for ALS patients.
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is here to support the ALS community
with services and resources that are desperately needed, and which for some may only be possible through the MAC Angels Foundation.
My family and I are forever grateful. You helped ease the experience that is ALS in so many ways for my sister Shannon and our whole family. Thank you for all you do.
With Love and Respect,
Nancy S. McKay
We consider the MAC Angels team to be an extended family. It’s comforting to know that we can reach out to them at any time for compassionate, personal support.
